After a great month of conference going, launching the Montreal Timeraiser, visiting Wood Buffalo and seeing their Timeraiser “i” take off like a rocket, we hit a little bump in the road. We were asked to produce a Director’s Alert for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants on the prevalence of cloud, mobile and social tools and the implications for Non-Profit Executive Directors. We think the results are pretty great, but unfortunately the editorial board at CICA felt that these new ways of share-based working are more of a management issue than a director’s issue. So the CICA Director’s Alert will have to wait. However, here’s a sneak peek at our first draft.
